About PHD Tech
Building Smarter, Safer Businesses Across Texas
Our Story
PHD Tech was founded on a simple belief — that technology should make businesses safer, not more complicated. From our earliest projects to today’s enterprise-grade cloud deployments, we’ve stayed focused on designing solutions that are reliable, scalable, and user-friendly.
Over the past 18 years, we’ve evolved from a regional security installer into a full-service technology integrator, offering commercial security systems, access control, cloud-based VoIP phone systems, and networking infrastructure. Our commitment to craftsmanship, transparency, and customer service has earned us long-term partnerships with companies across industries — from healthcare and education to manufacturing and multifamily housing.

Our Process
Giving Back
Giving back is not just a note on the company ledger for end-of-year tax preparation. If that were the case, we’d write a check and call it good, but giving is one of PHD’s core values.
PHD’s values and core beliefs align with our commitment to nonprofit work. We work for them as if each of their causes was our own, because in a way they are. Their network is our network. We work strategically with personnel for team traits, humility, and accountability – all important for nonprofit work. Our commitment to giving back to local communities and nonprofits is built into who we are as a company.
We serve the people of our communities through several organizations and our staff is privileged to work alongside them at annual events.

Leadership Team
Jerry Frankson
Chief Executive Officer
Jerry Frankson
Chief Executive Officer
Jerry brings more than 20 years of experience in business and technology services to PHDTech. Starting his career as a contractor for Texas Instruments as an Automation Control Technician allowed for hands-on work with timelines and processes. Migrating from technician to manager to business visionary focused on business culture, he has stayed grounded by working with many individuals he regards as team members.
As a chairman and business leader himself, Jerry understands that transparency, accountability and responsive actions keep ideas and customer visions moving forward. Surrounding himself with like-minded individuals driving towards a common goal allows for an environment to breed efficiencies and smooth operations.
When not working on his business goals, Jerry enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys traveling, golfing, and continuing his education. Improving the community by volunteering for numerous children’s organizations across North and Central Texas is a great passion for Jerry.

He believes strongly in cross-functional teamwork and in the impact EOS has had on PHDTech as both an organizational framework and a professional development tool.
